Bubble coral is pouting
I have had this Bubble Coral for almost 2 years. It's been VERY hot here and my tank got to be about 90 degrees. I did some water changes to cool it down and put a bottle of cold water in my sump. Everything is fine except my Bubble Coral. It used to be huge. Now, it just has a few shy peaks of Bubbles.
Anything I can do besides make sure the tank dosnt get hot again? I tested the water, it was perfect. Everybody else is fine. I have metal halide and have cut back on the time they are on. It's going to be a long hot summer. |

A fan blowing across the surface of the tank--more ventilation around the MH's. Freeze a gallon jug of water and set it in the sump before the MH's come on in the morning. When it's thawed at the end of the day, put it back in the freezer overnight and repeat.

+ 1 on the fan on the tank. I dont have a chiller on my tank, just fans and my tank never gets above 80.
