looking for mini brittle stars

I know that that indo-pacific sea farms sells mini brittle stars, but 6 for $35 is a joke. Anybody know of any other places besides that would have them in some kind of biodiversity kit? I've checked some LFS around me and haven't been able to find any

i have no clue, but my boyfriend is looking for some too. I have a TON of them living in my rock. I gave him one of my rocks that i didn't have room for and when he put it in his aquarium (that has a bad hair algae issue) all the algae disappeared around the rock.

I'm waiting to hear back from a buddy, maybe I'll try calling some LFS further away from me. I may just have to sack up and buy some.

When my tank was originally going..i had thousands of these guys and my tank was awesome, after an introduction of a melanurus, they were completely wiped out and I then had a battle with dinos. After restarting my tank, i removed teh melanurus and now need a new population to thrive

Just find someone in your local club who has them. I got 3 from a local guy and now i've got thousands. They multiply very fast.

Here you go:

http://www.atlanticseafarms.net/servlet/StoreFront

I've never done business with them. I placed a small order with them this morning to test the waters.

I gave this place a whirl. I'd try and find other places to get them but I'm very busy right now and don't have to time to drive around trying to find some. Thanks for the suggestions

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I stumbled across some videos of his operation on Vimeo and was pretty impressed. I was impressed with his prices too. Cool, looking forward to getting my order now and placing more in the future. He had some nice looking inventory.
