How often do I need to replace my bulbs?

I have a JBJ 24G nano with PC's. How ofter should I replace my bulbs? They are both working right now and seem bright. Do I need to replace them even if they are still working? or should I wait until they burn out?

If you have corals you need to replace them every 10-12 months.

I would replace every 8-10 months, for corals. For fish only, much much longer.

Ok, next question, I am running my lights about 10hr a day, but now im starting to get green algee on my rock. I have a combination of live rock and clean dead rock (nothing on it, besides the algee now). Am I running my lights too long or is this normal? Also my live rock is building some algee but not as much as my dead rock.

My PC's have to be changed out about every 6 months. The power loss and color shift drops off significantly after 6 months. Not a big deal for a FO tank but if you have corals you'll want to switch them out every 6 months. I'm going to upgrade to T5 or LED soon.
