75 Gallon Rimless

So after being around this site for a little while I have decided that I am going to post my tank for the first time so I can get some helpful comments on my steps further. I started with a 29 and upgraded to a 75. I purchased the 75 off Craigslist for an incredible price, but after a few months my OCD took over and the scratches drove me nuts, so I bought a 75 gallon rimless new. It would be awesome to get so advice on what I should have done differently/better, what I should look at in the future. Also I am balancing home projects and tank projects so coral/fish are a little on the light side, but will be adding more so all considerations for future corals and fish would be awesome as well. Thank you for looking!

So now on to the tank, tank specifics:
Deep Blue Edge 75 gallon rimless with center overflow
20 gallon long sump
Tek Light T-5 4 bulb light fixture

Thank you for the compliments.

HAHA yes it is. It is one of the few places I have gotten consistent service from, Vin is a really good guy and if he cant beat a price.....will match it. Which is how I got the tank (and answers the question), I purchased it from Aquaria Studio.

Haha, when I read the title, I thought sweet a 75 for sale! ( since i'm looking for one )

Nice tank though!

Can I ask how that stand is holding up without a center brace? I was considering building a similar style stand, perhaps with only a front or back center brace. It'd worry me having nothing at all

HAHA sorry to disappoint you and thanks.

What do you mean by center brace? I used the template found here just made a few modifications to allow 4 inches of space on the front, left and right sides:

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...and+calculator

I know it looks a little confusing looking at it, but there are four legs that are supporting all four corners of the tank with a center brace on the top and botton. So there is a center brace on the top and bottom sections (actually there is a sperate brace on the bottom to support the weight for the sump. Then there are four seperate legs to allow for the skin to come on. It was extremely simple and is actually more stable then the weight that it has on it. Completely sturdy.

I hope this helps some.
