Nac7, swc 120, swc 160...

Hey guys, first post!

I have to decide between a used Nac7@170$, a new SWC 120@150$, or a used SWC 160@180$.

I like new stuff, so Im leaning towards the 120, but Id like some input.

Tank is a 40breeder, and 40breeder sump.

I plan on adding biopellets soon, so does this mean the swc120 wont be powerful enough when I add that?

The tank is also IN MY ROOM, and from my searchings so far, all 3 are pretty quite.

Thanks in advance!

I would save a couple extra dollars and go with a nac6. For a 80 gallon system it would be perfect. Unless you want the cone look that is.

I'm guessing you wouldn't consider a SC150? Ebay

I used to run a swc 160 on a 65g vodka dosing.. that thing was killer. I assume it would be amazing on a smaller tank
