Blue tang growth rate
I currently have a Blue Tang in my 55g (yes I know ill need a bigger tank). She is pretty small so far about 4 inch's so the tang size is good for now. I will eventually be moving onto a bigger tang when she outgrows the 55g, so my question is what is the growth rate of this fish. About how long should I expect to have to wait until shes around 8 inchs from now?
Thanx for the replies.

I've had mine for 3 months and it has grown about 3/4" feeding twice a day.

If healthy should grow very fast. In my opinion, it has already outgrown your tank. As it continues to grow, no matter what the upgrade (unless you get a public aquarium sized tank), it will look cramped and make your 5big tank look small.
