Hello, I make 35 gallon water changes, in garage, now its summer, my water temp says 85 to 90 %. I do have a pump that I currantly have stirring every four hours or so , on a timer. I want to make sure the water does not go " bad" , No salt added till a couple of hours before I need it. I have heard of water going " stale" or something like that. I do lower the temp( with ice before I use it.before adding it to my dt.any thoughts?

I store water for a couple of weeks at a time. I think alot of folks on here do the same thing. I do however mix my saltwater for 24 hrs before use.

thanks all, I feel better now, the word I was looking for was " stagnant", I feel better now, I am using a brute trash container. I toss a couple of bottle g-2 in the freezer beforehand to cool the water .
