Always try your local LFS first. If you don't have anything local try Vivid Aquarium, Atlantis and Divers Den-Drs Foster and Smith just to name a few. Have had very good experience with them

Divers Den (WISC) is the best but not cheap. The fish are cheaper at the CA facility but you dont get to see what your getting. Ive been very pleased with the livestock from both locations.

+++ LiveAquaria's Diver's Den
Having been to the facility for their Open House tours a few times, seeing first hand the procedures and care given to the animals is very reassuring. All of the fish are quarantined and are feeding before they are put on the website. Even the corals go through a quarantine procedure before entering the raceways and becoming available for purchase. And if you do have any claims to make, they are very responsive. A top notch facility! I have also ordered from the LiveAquaria regular website and have had no regrets. You can sign up on a waiting list for species not in stock and they'll e-mail you when they get them in (but it's first come - first served.) I have not ordered from any of the other sites, so my opinion is biased. But there are a lot of nice looking sites out there. -JASON |
