90 gallon wave front lighting
I recently purchased a wave front 90 gallon tank I had a 45 gallon I was running 4 96 watt PC on this tank with much luck in LPS and mushrooms. I am curious what would be good for the 90 gallon not sure I want to go MH due to the major temperature change. I was thinking about a 8 bulb T5 unit? any thoughts on this would greatly be appreciated.

They would both work. It depends on which you want to choose.
MH works well too but then you have the heat issue/chiller. Ken |

T5s always worked well for me, but I liked the look of MHs better. But the heat is a major issue and drastically increases electricity use

which is why i am not in to the MH but that is more just personal then anything else. I know many people with MH but I am not about them. What does everyone think of PAR 38 bulbs? Been doing some research on them and the look they give is very nice and should be able to get color scheme with them as well as what the corals and fish need as well and they are LED.
