24g JBJ NC Lighting Help Required

Hello All,

I'm in the process of unpacking and starting up my previously running 24g NC. You just cant stay away from this hobby for long, and after moving and having to temporarily shut down my larger tank im getting the itch to have something saltwater in the house!

I just returned from my LFS with brand new 10k lights as replacements for old bulbs and I've run into some problems already. I have one set of lights that fire and the other do not. If I reverse the plugs into the ballast then the other set fires, so I know I have two working bulbs. I'm assuming something is wrong with the ballast (or possibly the connection to the light in the hood?) but past that I dont have much experience with this sort of electrical problems to be able to solve it on my own.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lots of other work to be done in the mean time, but I want to get these lights operational as soon as I can.

Thanks,
Matt
