I have a 110 that is 48x30x19 and I'm using 100% reef crest. My tank is cycling and there is nothing in it though.

I prefer lagoon at 100%. It is higher energy then reef crest.

I rotate and tend to use ever single mode just a day or two in each mode seems to work really well.

I like TSM (Tidal Swell Mode) at about 85%. Have two MP40W ES on opposite ends of 4 ft tank, Master/Slave config. Also use night mode to save a little power and reduce sound overnight. Every once in a while I'll hit the mode button to switch to NTM, let that run for a couple hours and then back to TSM.

I like the chaotic effect of having one on one side midway and two on the other side all on the yellow setting mid power. 4x2x2 120 gallon reef with fish..

At 72" long, I think you would want MP60s. The MP40s have a max distance of 36" on one end before they die off. That's what I read from the vortech forum.

I run my MP40s in either Tidel Swell Mode or Reef Crest.

Suggestions

Thanks for the many suggestions. I will try to run my Mp40wES in the suggested modes above to see if it makes a difference in tank.

125mph.
I also run a Koralia 4 on the other side of the tank to help the circulation. Thanks for the suggestion.

I use reefcrest, nutrient export, and constant at various times throughout the day. All controlled with my Apex.
