Glass-holes return install help

I got my holes drilled for my 2 returns. Im about to install the bulkhead but am confused as to what way to install it and where to put the 1 gasket? inside our outside tank? and Do they go in the same way as the overflows did.... ( nut inside the tank? )

overflow set up had great instructions, return kit has none.

The bulkhead and the gasket go on the inside of the tank, then the nut on the outside just like the drains.

The gasket always goes inside the tank. It is best to place the nut outside the tank for a couple of reasons. First, tightening the nut if it is inside the tank places a ripping strain on the gasket. Second, if you ever need to tighten the bulkhead, it is nearly always easier to do with the nut outside the tank. If space restraints make it absolutely necessary, the nut can go inside the tank, but it is best left outside if possible.

This is how I put mine on with the gasket on the outside. Here are the pictures. I don't know if this is the correct method, but that is the only way I could find that worked where the loc-lines would screw into the bulkhead. I don't have any leaks from the bulkhead at all.

^^^ This is incorrect^^^
The gasket ALWAYS goes on the flange side of the bulkhead. NO EXCEPTIONS. It doesn't matter if it is inside or outside of the tank.
