Pick a Fish, Any Fish
Looking to add a new fish to my tank that is active, yet peaceful. What has been your favorite fish in your reef? What fish would you want to put in your tank if you dont already have it? Also..what fish would you NEVER plan on getting? Thanks

Umm, not much experience here only have had 4 species of fish as of now. I would say clownfish are my favorites as of now. Will probably change when I get the rest of my fish.
Would never get a Sergent Major Damsel. Little butt steels food from my nems, bites my hand and arm during maintence, takes his fill first, and poops worse than a goldfish if you know what I mean... He is being taken out this weekend thank God! |

I second the Midas Blenny! I have a lawnmower Blenny and he is very animated and amusing. They swim like an eel and "perch" on rocks. Very entertaining.

I love my Starry Blenny and my Diamond Watchman Goby!!!
If I could add another fish.. it would def be the McCoskers Flasher Wrasse!!!! awesome fish!! my other choice would be the Foxface... A fish I would NEVER ever add again.. Domino Damsel!! Use to have one and it killed my $130 Borbonius Anthias and would attack me every chance it got!! I have scars to prove it

Diamond goby. I enjoy mine. It moves at least a cup of sand around everyday. When I go to bed he will have a mountain of sand on a rock and when I get up he will be sleeping in a cave he dug under it. When I come home from work it will be a mountain again.

I would never get a White Shark....they get pretty big and they have a nasty bite.
Midas Blennys are awesome.

i like lyretail anthias. i had 3 females and 1 turned to a male. cool to watch if you can handle 3 fish. i also had a blue spot jawfish which i had for around a year. when i redid my tank due to some unknown problems, i took him to the LFS for holding. unfortunately he died while there. i am looking for a new one because they have the most personality.
