Phosguard with tlf reactor
I have a 125 and was curious what everyone suggested... Not sure if this is the correct place to post though. The directions say about a cup of phosguard for every 75-100 gallons to a media bag but this would leave a lot of room in the reactor. Can I/should I add more phosguard? I've heard that you could add carbon to the remaining space but would like some more opinions first.
Also, should I put the reactor in my sump or hang it outside? It would be more convenient outside but the fittings don't seem very tight and I would be afraid of some leakage... Suggestions? |

They are pretty decent as far as leakage but I prefer to run mine internal. Remove the label before it gets wet or it won't ever come off clean!
You can mix carbon but IME its not worth it unless your changing the media at least every other week. Extra space is ok.
