Xm10k with lumatek ballast
Can a 400w se xm10k bulb run on a lumatek electronic ballast? I know the are suppose to be run on a magnetic ballast but how does it get affected by running on the electronic ballast?

You can run it on a magnetic or electronic ballast. Both will work fine for that bulb. I have used it before on both type ballasts and it was fine.
You may want to suppliment it with some color though. That bulb tends to be a tad yellow (more like an 8K IMO) but will give you good growth. T12 VHO actinics work great with it. |
