Gfci
Hi everyone I am looking for a GCFI for my new setup.
I am looking at this one http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.co...m?pcatid=14702 The question I have is the portable single outlet one fine? Can I just plug a power strip into it and all devices connected to the powerstrip will be protected? The setup would be Walloutlet - GFCI - Power Strip - Devices Thank you for any help. |

Thanks. You mean replacing a wall outlet with a GCFI one right? I didn't see any for $5 most were about the same price as the plug in, I just liked the plug in convenience.

A GFCI from HD will run you $15 to $20. I would go that route.

The yellow ones tend to be non latching. With those if the power goes out once it comes back on you have to reset, NOT what you want for a aquarium. Either do an outlet or make sure whatever you get latches.

GFCI's can be finicky.
I use that 5 outlet GFCI in the link you show. Shock Buster. Works great. |
