I always taste the new mixed water as well as my RODI and have done so for as long as I can remember. My theory is that if its good enough for the fish, its good enough for me.

...you sit at your desk at work drawing up the dimensions for the canopy that you are building for your 125 gal and your boss walks up behind you coffe in hand and admires the introcacy of your blueprints...then realizes what you're doing isn't your job...luckily my boss is cool.
