hob refugium help!

currently i am running two filters on my 29 gallon system. 1 aquaclear 70 and a marineland 250 penguin biowheel. in my aquaclear i have a filtersponge and ceramic rings and in my marineland i have a sponge and chemipure. I am planning on replacing my marineland filter with a hydor nano skimmer, and converting my ac70 into a hob refugium. what would be the best things to put in there out of sponges, ceramic rings, chaeto, and chemipure? i would like to have chaeto for sure. any other suggestions??

I had Chaeto in my refugium and it looked sweet with a bunch of micro organisms swimming all around at night!

There won't be enough room for anything but cheato in an Aqua Clear 70, maybe 1 sponge but don't forget to clean it out regularly.
