What is this clear slime on my rocks?
I have large amounts of clear slime growing on my rocks and I don't know how to get rid of it. I believe it is photosynthetic since it does not grow where the light does not reach. My tank is 125g and it has been running for 7 months. I have always had this slime ever since I started this tank. I thought it might have been due to phosphates and so I purchased a phosban reactor with some rowaphos, but there has been no change. My livestock includes a six line wrasse, a melanurus wrasse, a tomato clownfish, a pygmy angelfish and a blue tang. I have a couple of acros, a birdsnest, a hammer, a torch, some montis, some polyps and a green bubble tip anemone. I am attaching some pics. Thanks.

These are Chrysophytes. I would look to reduce your silicates.
