1st time reef tank clean up crew?
I am re setting up a 150 gallon tank. It has been a fish only tank for years and I have hast added about 125-175 pounds of well established live rock from a friends tank breakdown. I am looking to add a clean up crew and wondering if this is any good. I got 3 brittle star fish with the rock. I found this deal on craigslist and want to make sure it sounds right, and I am not getting ripped off. Thanks for any input.

That's too much IMO, money and inhabitants. On a tank that size, I would probably add maybe 24 snails, (different types) 6 scarlet hermits, 4 peppermint shrimp, (aptasia purposes) & 2 emerald crabs. (valonia purposes) See how they do for awhile and then adjust accordingly. Those blue legged hermits can be a little aggressive towards your snails and you better hope you don't have a mess that requires 125 of those little buggers running around your tank. With good husbandry you really shouldn't need that big of a CUC.
