Olive snail getting evicted!
Finally saw first hand what these snails do. It totally grabbed hold of a hermit crab and took it under the sand. The rest is history. I've noticed less crabs around the tank.
Very nice looking snail but you have to get out.

they are wonderful looking snails
i use to have a pair many moons ago and could not figure what happened to all my other crabs and snails until i read up on them

Gee... I guess this is why I have to keep buying hermits. When ever a chunk of food hits the bottom of the tank the olive shows up from under the sand to get it. Kinda spooky.
