If your home water pressure is lower than 40 PSI, the RO unit will not effectively produce quality water and a booster pump is recommended.

You want the RO/DI unit, the DI resin removes the other 2%-10% of impurities. The pump is for increasing your water pressure, you may or may not need it, most people's city water has enough pressure (at least 40psi) to properly use these filters.
