Need help identifying this..

I have a spiderweb looking thing growing on my macro algae in my refugium... what is this and is it bad should i pick it out?

That is Cyano bacteria or "Red Slime", it won't hurt anything, if you can siphon it out with an air hose, do so, if not it will eventually go away on it's own.

Yeah, cyno. Check phosphates. Dealt with that crap or months, LOL!

Yes cyano.
And that looks like feather caulerpa macro algae.
You definitely don't want that to get into your display.
I'd just stick with chaeto.
