One thing I'm curious about is the sand bed depth. I was under the impression 4" was too small for a DSB (not to mention I don't like DSBs in a DT). Why not drop that to 2" and give yourself a bigger water column?

And what's a chroni? I tried to find that and couldn't...Chromis maybe? or an abbreviation of something I couldn't figure out.

Welcome to RC.

Chromi sry phones auto correct I may be mistaken it may be more of a 3 to 4" bed. Im happy with where its at. After my cycle ive never had an algae breakout and nvr had an outbreak of amonia or nitrates. So I don't want to change anything since it works. Other than a new sump and skimmer is in the works when i get around to it. The pro clear works but it could be better. The thing im working on first is figuring out 2 part dosing, and what i want to run for bulb configuration.
