chaeto
Just received order of chaeto, is it safe to throw straight into refugium? It doesnt need to be cycled correct? How about several pieces of live rock rubble, cycle or safe to throw in biocube 29?

The Cheato is fine to go straight in the refugium, if the live rock rubble is "cured" it is also fine to go in. Your tank water goes through the nitrogen "cycle" that allows beneficial bacteria to form & colonize on rock & filter media. Live Rock needs to "cure", which means allow for die off to subside, so that when it goes in the tank it won't give off ammonia.

Chaeto macroalgae can just be dumped into the refugium. LR rubble would be fine too, as I don't expect significant die-off from it.
