Getting back into the hobby LR ?

Hello I just setup a 34 gallon rsm 34 gal nano. I purchased dead live rock from a guy on craigslist for real cheap, I then went to my LFS and bought two additional pieces to jump start the colonization of coraline and little inverts on the dead rock thar was once live. I also added 45 lbs of aragonite, I guess to make this short and sweet my questions are.

Should I be running my skimmer at this time?
Should I add additives to the water since i have dead rock, and cured rock?

I read most of the stickies concerning live rock, but didn't see anything with regards to cured live rock/ dead rock combos and how to deal with additives and cycles.

I have space to add on more decent sized rock, should I add more cured rock to accelerate the colonization process?

The hobby has advanced so much since I've been gone, and I just want my little piece of ocean to do well so I can upgrade in the near future hahahaha

Thanks

Here is the tank last night

You don't have to add any additives. The nitrifying bacteria in the LR will seed your dead rock. Go ahead and get your skimmer going and start a log so you can track your cycle.

Go ahead and get the skimmer running now. The tank will go through a cycle (even with dry base rock and curred live rock). It will be good to have the added filtration removing some of the doc's. You don't need any additives. The liverock you got from the lfs will seed the base rock and the sand, just takes a little time.
