How much would you pay for a Frozen Food Dispenser?

So I know everyone has thought of this before...

If someone manufactured a reliable frozen fish food dispenser that was compact, energy efficient, dispensed various sizes of cubes, and capable of allowing the user to control the dispensing frequency, how much would you be willing to pay?

Nothing. Because, you know, I like to hang out in the DIY forum.

It would depend on what it actually does rather than just claims. Also for ease of use and maintenance. And on its reliance on ready made foods or accepting just about anything cubed or not.

But even then i would probably try my best to emulate it if it really was some clever idea, more so than the medical dosing pump in wine cooler ideas, before buying it, unless it was just too cheap to bother.

If its too expensive it would probably be more economical to get a girl....

although this would assure my fish were always fed daily, i enjoy watching my fish eat and making sure everyone is getting their fair share then using any extra to spot feed my acans. if i had something like this i would feel far less attached to my tank...that sounds weird

$300 if it can dispense for 7 days. This lets me go on vac for a week without worry.

I believe thread is simply forgotten, but this thing - don't ask a poll, with a poll there will be no IBM, Apple.. nothing... because it's simple - you believe in idea - you do it in a nice way and you get success! Good luck!

I"ve tried all kinds of dispenser, they never work the way you expect or the way they're shown, its all a show when its on YouTube. Its clumbsy, bulky, never the same amount, its clogs , over feeds, its a mess when you return, no matter what price. The best way to disprove my facts, buy one and test it two week with NO interferance on your tank, WITHOUT INTERFFERANCE to really see what its going to do to your tank. Then you'll have the answer, and you can still return the mess back to whoever and all that trouble, cleaning your tank up etc.....
