How to kill aiptasia in a plant only tank

Ok, so i decided to start harvesting macros to trade with my lfs for store credit, everything is going good, i set up a 55 gallon, have 2 cfls and a couple of powerheads to spin the macro, i supplement with iron and everthing is doin great..... Then i see %$%^$&^aiptasia in the tank and on the macro......Is there anything i can do to kill aiptasia, minus the norm methods in a plant only tank???

aiptasia problem

There are a few different methods to use to kill aiptasia. there are products like joe's juice, zappers, scat fish, file fish. these all work!

yes , i know that ,aiptasia X works great,, but this is not a normal tank, spot treatment is not feasible

If some hard work is feasable then spot treatment is feasable. Use kalk paste. Youll be done in one night.

There are some fish and nudis that eat them, but aptasia is the only thing they eat. When the aptasia is gone the fish or nudis starve to death.

If it's loaded up with aiptasia, you could use the nudis...they will breed in an aiptasia rich, fish free environment, then you can sell the babies to fellow reefers. Those things go for $15 a piece online. Or, you can try the Majano wand, which has worked wonders for me.

i dont want to risk missing some with spot treatment, i wonder if a heavy dose of lime juice aquarium wide would do it also,, its not heavily infested, i found four today and may have removed them all, but i dont want to be that jerk that knowingly sells something with aiptasia on it
