acrylic adhesive in Canada

I'm looking for an acrylic adhesive (weld-on) alternate product, as I live in Canada and it's near impossible to find here from what I read.

I tried making an overflow with melev's plans, and it worked great, but I used silicone 1 and it just isn't strong enough.

I want to use weldon 16 or something similar that will actually bond the acrylic together.

What's available in Canada?

I need to get this overflow going so that my skimmer can be used!!!

hmmm.

maybe I'll just drill my tank instead

starting to seem simpler... I think we have a holesaw at work, and I can use the bulkhead that I bought for my overflow, to just put in the hole I drill.

I will be calling the manufacturer tomorrow, hopefully, to find out if it's tempered. I'd be drilling a few inches from the top of the tank.

seems like the simpler route in the long run. (as long as I dont shatter my tank)

but... if it's not tempered, I'm pretty confident I can do it..... not crazy about draining the tank again though... and moving the sand.

Did you get an answer to this? I'm looking for something similar to weldon in Canada also. Having a hard time finding something.
