Radion is the only full spectrum RGB option available.
Makes the choice pretty easy for me.

As for me, I pre-ordered a radion to replace my 250w MH. We will see how that goes.

I've seen it over a local reefer's tank here in Houston. His tank is on the ecotech website. I think they've been on his tank for about 5 weeks now. The colors and pe of his coral look great. The overall colors of the tank look very natural. I really like the ability to dial in exactly how much of each color you like. The fixture looks very sleek and looked as though it was part of the decor rather than an eyesore. The fan people online have complained about is very discreet and doesn't take away from the fixture at all imo.
I will say there is a little bit of color separation at the sharp edges. If it really bothers you (which it didn't bother me), I find that my t5s + par38s eliminate all color separation. I'm not saying that this is the next biggest thing in reef lighting, but I will say that I have my radion on pre-order. |

Can't wait to people have them for about 6 months. Then we'll see how well they work. Of course, there will be the next latest and greatest.. |

Do you use LEDs? Have you seen LED lit tanks? have you looked at a LED lit tank for extended time? This is a little off topic but I suggest anyone looking at any LED solution to check out a tank using LEDs and watch it for a few minutes.
I think LEDs make some corals look amazing but if I want to stare at my tank, work on it, look for details, my eyes get tired really fast and I get headaches. This is not the case for everyone but I've heard other people complaint about the same effects. Full spectrum RGB means it has spectrum in the Reds Greens and Blues, some are arguing that this is more an aesthetical improvement for our eyes more than for the inhabitants, which is still a plus. |

No, I actually haven't had LED's or seen any on a tank other than pictures.
They don't look like they would hurt your eyes, but I can't say because I've never looked in person. That's interesting....I know I can't hardly sit through a 3D movie, and if it's anything like that, I'll probably just get some Tek T5's |

Nobody tried the Radio yet other than the people Ecotech paid to advertise for them because they have not shipped yet.
