My 75 gallon SH tank

Ive had a few post about setting up my 75 gallon SH tank but now its finally here! And was wanting to share my tank with everyone as it came together. The tank has 2 corner overs, 30 gallon sump with filter sock and reef dynamics skimmer(rated for a 110 gallon) and a hy-drive return pump. My light fixture is a BRS 4 bulb T5 fixure with 2 actinic bulbs and 2 6000k bulbs. I also have a chiller thats set to 72 deg. Im planning as of now to keep 6, H. Kuda.

The tank is still a little cloudy but is clearing up quickly. Also the pic makes it look much more blue than what it really is. All the rock is dry rock and also dry sand. Im planning on cycling the tank with ammonia so I dont risk adding something that could harm the seahorses.

Time to share a few more pics! The tank is finally cycled and have some cool macros and a nice gorgonia I picked up. The horses will be coming this Friday from seahorsesource! I cant wait

I know from first hand experience that NPS Gorgonians and seahorses are a terrible mx. The horses will literally rub the flesh of the gorgonian until it can no longer extend its polyps to feed and dies. However you might be alright with the macros so the horses have something else to hitch onto.

Nice build! You used metal clamps on the output of your return pump to secure the flexible tubing. Are you sure they won't rust? Just a heads up before it starts causing problems...

Good luck... Oo... like the Kovy mention already just make sure that metal clamp wont rust. I am pretty sure that those are stainless steel clamp but, with saltwater, it will eventually rust... Good luck...

The hose clamps will indeed rust. The rule of thumb is to use metal on the dry connections and plastic on the wet connections. You can also use zipties as hose clamps in a pinch...

Seconding on the zipties, never had one come loose.

Cuttlekid, my experience with NPS gorgs has been different. I place my NPS gorgs in a higher flow area in the tank, maybe that contributes a bit. Hav you kept NPS gorgs without seahorses in the tank? Man under estimate how much work they really are.

Current Tank Info: 58g main with 20g sump
