Adding my cuc soon.
I am about a week away from my tank cycling. Is it safe to add a shrimp with my cuc? Do I have to wait a while after I add crabs and snails or can the shrimp handle being introduced that soon?

Shrimp can be a little more sensitve to water conditions than crabs, I would wait until the cycle is complete just to be safe.

I'd hold off on the shrimp until you have things in the tank that require feeding so they have something to eat. Same with the crabs. They'll go after your snails if there's no algae to pick at yet.

I'm not gonna put anything in until the tank is finished cycling. I have also been turning the lights on longer as the cycle comes to an end to grow some algae for the crabs. I'm only gonna wait a week after adding my cuc to put the first fish in. I figured feeding the crabs and shrimp would help to strenthen the bacteria.
