Alkalinity at 9 dkh...Good or bad ?
I was battling dines and started dosing kalwasser. Im going to continue dosing kalwasser , and I tested my Alk. It was about 9-9.5 dkh . Do I need it around 11 , or is it good where its at ?

I keep mine between 9 and 10. Some people keep it a little lower, some a little higher. The important thing is that you keep it stable at the value you choose.

Okay. I am using a KW300 with kalkwasser. Since it stirs, then settles, then pumps into sump, then repeats, could it ever possibly add to much kalkwasser and spike my alkalinity ?

The most common problem with kalkwasser is the top off system fails and it dumps a lot of kalkwasser into the tank. Yes it can cause issues. Always have a failsafe that can keep this from happening.
