Turn over on 90gallons

Im going to have ruffly 6ft of head preaser.
Someone said the turn over rate should be 8times so
That 720gph or should it be more

It really depends on what you are planning to keep in the tank. I have heard that 15 is a good number to start with. I do 15 times per hour through the returns and then have an MP10 running on short wave mode all the timenso not sure how much more that adds.

IMO you can never have too much as your just getting better surface skimming and ensuring that the system's water is making it's way through your filtration as needed. At 720gph your system would go through filtration system 8 times every hour...I typically target 10Xs but so many factors come into play as the article outlines.

Depending on budget, pipe size, and bends you can get a much better idea of what pump you should go with!

I believe never to much flow but all depends what you are keeping.

Lol ya im reading more and more still not to sure the
Way im going yet but I think ill go with a mag 12 im going
To have more head pressure than I thought I built the
Stand pretty tall

I have a corner overflow to with a 1inch bulkhead
And a 3/4inch bulkhead
