Dugless' 250DD Build
A few weeks ago, my brother (Dugless) and I began constructing a stand and fish tank room in the basement. The tank is a Marineland 250 gallon deep dimension. The idea is to have the front glass and the sides back to the overflows visible to the room. Here is where we stand at at this point.

Got the doorway wall installed and the rest of the outlet boxes in. Only framing left is the box over the top of the tank to conceal the light rack. We hope to try and get most of the tank plumbing run in the next day or two.

It has been a while since I up dated the thread and felt I should take a few minutes to post photos of the progress to this point.
We got all the plumbing up and running as shown in the photos below. After getting all of the plumbing set and sealed together, it was next on to the light rack. We just purchased some aluminum angles from Home Depot and cut them to the sizes we needed. Following the cutting, we used a drill press to create holes where we would put metal loops and nuts to hold everything together. This also gave us the opportunity to alter the height of each corner in small amounts to make sure the light rack was level in respect to the tank. Photos shown below.
