Need help identifying this. Please.....

I don't know if this is reef safe or not. Never seen anything quite like this before. Saw it for the first time yesterday. Comes out while all lights are on. It looks like a snail with no shell but almost like a small snail sitting on top of a larger one. It's about an inch long and can move rather quickly for a "snail" or something like that. I just don't know what to make of this thing. ???? Any help is appreciated.

maybe a type of sponge is my guess but im no expert. kinda still new myself.

Thanks so much for the replies! Can't be a sponge I don't think because it moves, rather quickly too. It does resemble a stomella but I have never seen one this big. That's what concerned me. Thanks so much guys!

Definitely a stometella. Awesome snail and they will reproduce like mad. Your lucky

like fin mike said they reproduce fast i have a bunch in my tank some around 3/4 of an inch
