help ID worm? & solution.
hi all,
havent been on the forums in quite sometime now but do still have them to thank for the success of my tank thusfar. My tank has been up and running for about 18 months now but recently noticed an increase in this worm - or what i think to be a worm. i noticed 1 or 2 always living within my live rock and it never seemed to be a problem. i have an acan king that hasnt really been doing well do to this form of worm or algae surrounding it. please help me ID this and let me know the best way to treat.IMAG1139.jpg IMAG1132.jpg IMAG1133.jpg |

That is aptasia anemones,I would get some pickling lime and make it a thick paste and inject them.Be sure to turn off pumps to keep it from getting on your corals.Or try peppermint shrimp, they are sometimes hit or miss on eating them.

with that many (and the majority yes are near the acan) there is probably another 6 i can seen not pictured here. you think 2-3 grown peppermint shrimp will suffice?
has anyone successfully removed using joes/pepper/or the stop |
