Need help with sand sifters

What are some easier types to get? I was thinking about a diamond head gobie and may some nassarius snails. What else does a decent job?

nassarius snails are also fun to watch at feeding time. They all come out to say hi!

How large is your tank?

Nassarius snails are very cool to watch and are tireless workers. Some sand-sifting fish are prone to starvation in tanks that are too small.

If you have 2"+ or more of sand and a good fish population a sea cucumber could do the job. I have a small (3"-4") yellow cucumber in both tanks and in the DSB. I see them maybe once a month or so, the rest of the time they are in the sand eating.

Need more information about your tank in order to suggest the proper sand sifters.

ive had good luck with a tiger tail cucumber and nassarius snails. stay away from sand sifting fish for this purpose. Often they starve.
