DIY Overflow Box Help

Help!
Wondering what to use to bond acrylic plexiglass for an overflow box....that won't leak.
I've read to use #4 or #16 acrylic cement.
However, If you can believe this, I can't find any where I live. I'd like to get to work on this while I have time, so is there some regular item that any Hardware Store may carry that I can use?

Thanks!

I'll ship you my overflow, inner/outer with the U tube, 1 inch bulkhead and U tube for $30 shipped, if it will help. It's in my basement doing nothing.

Typically you have to get the weld-on solvents from a supplier. If you're going to use black acrylic or abs or something along those lines for your overflows then you can use pretty much any industrial strength adhesive that works on plastic. Ofcorse, it's not something that you want to construct a tank out of but it will work fine for overflows.

I've used some stuff called, Welder that I found at Lowes that works pretty good.

look in the yellow pages for an acrylic place... stop by and ask them where to get the glue.

last time i did this they just gave me a pint of weldon4

i did find one shop that led me to the supplier but the supplier gave me some spiel about its a hazardous chemical and needed permits to ship to me ...

sounded like a crock to me too..
