Aquascape Advice 57G

Need some advice on some additional ideas on scaping a Deepblue 57G. I think i have to much rock and its more like a wall effect. Not sure how I can build around that ridiciously large overflow box.

I have a Mix of Fiji and FHI real reef rock. At the bottom there are 2 larger (9 lb) sizes on both the left and right side propping up the FHI rock. I have 3 Large pieces of the FHI rock, Right Side, Middle Bottom and Upper Left.

The piece on the Right side has a very unique shape, Looks like an open shell, Rests on the bottom piece. The other 2 pieces on the right and left of the main bottom center rock are a few lbs, i was just thinking about removing them from each side but thought it would look silly with only the Middle piece.

Other pieces at the top (whiter pieces) are few lbs each.

Probably one of the only things I like about how it looks is the Nice Cup/Shelf piece on the far left, a nice 5" inch width by about 9" or so to place someting on it.

Any suggestions on opening it up? May just try redoing the entire thing but not sure what pieces I should use at the bottom.

Original Fiji Rock, 2 Larger pieces.

Bottom picture looks like a good start. Why not get some epoxy and go crazy with big caves that would allow for good flow. I'll be tagging along as I am contemplating opening up my wall of rock too.

Well, took apart the rock work and here is what I came up with....

Raised the bottom rocks with smaller pieces, good flow around and on the bottom now under rocks. Now have some nice caves, ledges etc.

I manually set the white balance to wash out the blue to better see the rockwork.

Right Side.

Left Side.

Middle Right.

Let me know what you think about the second go at it.
