Who just got a totally free 40g bowfront?

ME! That's who! I just got my 2nd complete tank setup from Freecycle! It is a 40g Bowfront with top and stand. It also came with 2 Penguin 200Bs, a nice powerhead with air injection and a bunch of assorted stuff included several new boxes of filter media. Oh, and when I was walking out I saw a Fluval 305 just sitting there and I asked if she wanted to get rid of that too and her husband yells, "YES!" so I got that too. Got it home and cleaned it all up and it all looks brand new! SWEET!

Nice score. Last fall I got a free 46G bowfront setup that was sitting in someone's garage covered in salt-creep. Tank, stand, top, Eheim canister, some sort of HOB skimmer and a UV unit plus a bunch of hoses and little pumps. I sanded down the stand an restained it and am working on setting it up now. Filled it with water yesterday, but of course realized after the fact that I want to move it a little bit to put a HOB fuge on the back. Figures. It's just full of fresh water at the moment, and nothing else, so out come the bins to drain into!

Actually this is a 46g bowfront, not 40g.

I really like the Fluvals. I have an FX5 on my 120g (fresh) and a 105 on my 29g (salt). I was planning on using the 305 for the 46g bow and sticking the two bio-wheels in the storage pile. I promised the person I got the tank from that I would take care of the 7 large goldfish that she gave me with the tank, so for now, that tank will continue to house the goldfish. But it would be a GREAT tank for SW FOWLR.
