Vortech MP10 + ??

I have a 65g FOWLR for the time being (corals soon). I just added a MP10w ES. My original plan was to add another one. Would this be enough for my size tank (36x18x24)? Or should I look at a MP40w? I will not be keeping many, if any, SPS. Thanks.

I don't have this pump but i am considering it for my 75. I would say wait and see once you add corals then you can allways order another pump if you need more flow.

2 pumps will add so much possibility in the master slave sync anti sync...I think you will be happy with the pair and being able to move them to different spots of the tank will be nice

Should I add another MP10 or go with a MP40?

I would choose 2 mp40s in case you ever upgrade, but that's just me.

I disagree but to each his own...To the OP, I would get another MP10 and go from there. I dont know how much flow you have coming from your return but you should have plenty of flow for you application. Im just not a subscriber to the more is better always plan.

I hut put two MP10wes on my 58 (same footprint) last month. They are great I can make full waves in seconds. I only run them around 60% master slave mode is great!

I have 2 MP10's in my 24x24x18 45 gallon cube and i think it is perfect. In your case i would think MP40s would be better in an SPS dominated tank but otherwise you should be good witb the 10s

I say MP10 as well, an MP40 will just be a lot of unused potential.

I have a single MP10w on my 75g. Planning on adding another shortly. Just need to finish chocking on this month's CC bill first.

I've been considering 2x MP10's for my 75g (48x18x20)... Any one wish they had more flow with this setup? I just don't want to "over kill" with MP40's dialed way down...
