LED: bridgelux vs cree
Any comparisons out there that compare the 2 LED brands? 3W?

there are a lot of threads out there and comparisons abound. Its hard to distinguish fact from opinion. the general consensus it seems is that the crees are more efficient because they put out a higher lumen per watt. There is a huge cost difference and by some calculations it would take several years to make up the difference in cost. there has recently been some par readings from the bridgelux and the seem fairly impressive. The other thing is that crees are more consistent in there color and specs.
