Can Koralias Be Mounted On an Overflow Box?

I want to keep the tank as equipment free as possible, and I think that by mounting the Koralias on the overflow box would help keep the tank looking clean.
Is that a viable option? The magnet would be on either side of the overflow box itself, so the "dry" side would get wet. I dont see a problem with that as of now, but I want to check before I do something potentially stupid.

Thanks in advance
Xavier

You would be pushing waste water away from your overflow, I think... (waste water being the water into your sump)

That is a good point that I didnt think about. However, I also think I could aim the pumps to counteract that and actually aid in bringing water to the overflow box.

If you can try making alot of micro bubbles and see what happens near your overflow box. But most people cant bc of live stock already in the tank

I will do just that. I can aim them lower and let the deflected flow bring it back up and into the box. The tank is 4' long so I think that the overflow should not be affected all that drastically.

But regardless, I will test it with bubbles.

Thanks for the heads up
