Palys vs. Zoas
What are the differences between. As a relative newbie they seem to be similar in pictures.

Someone the other day asked the same question. Some replied with the link to this article, which is pretty good: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2003/2/inverts .
Generally speaking, palys got the venus fly trap look & have the look of sand in their stalks. In addition, zoas tend to grow in tight fitting mats. There's always an exception, but this is a decent starting point. If you got a few min, check out the article. |
