Secure overflow
Hi
I just put 2 small fish in my tank a few days ago, and today i found one of then in the sump, my overflow is a coast to coast without any teeth over it, what can i do to avoid this. |

egg crate like people use to hold frags could work...it is plastic so you will probably have to find some sort of reef safe plastic glue to attach it to the top of the overflow...this should help keep the fishies from taking the slip'n'slide down to the sump

Grills or grates for your bulkheads can work too.

Get some plastic gutter guard from home depot or lowes. depending on the size of your C2C you can probably just bend it into place and have it stay without gluing. You'd be surprised the size of fish that can fit through egg crate...

menards sells some drain screens for pvc if you have that style of overflow, so if something dives it will only get into the overflow and not the sump. you can select whatever size you need and it fits right in the end of the pvc
