Question after QT/Copper treatment

so i was wondering now that my fish has been QT'ed and copper treated how should i go about putting him in my main tank without taking the copper with him. i dont want to introduce copper to my system. whats the best way to get this sucker in my main tank without ruinning my corals and what not. any tips would be great. thank you.

I would either put it in a bag and float it and then just take the fish out and put it in your tank, or drip acclimate the fish and then net it out and put it in the tank. The amount of copper on/in the fish will be negligible in the entire system. If you are worried about the tiny amount of copper that will go into the tank run a polyfilter after you put the fish in. But its no where near enough to affect any corals or livestock in the DT.

Put the fish in a small container of water from your tank, then rinse the net and again net the fish from the container and put it in your tank
