Question How to transfer livestock- Relocate tank??

NEED SOME HELP!!

I have a fully setup and established 36 gallon bowfront, with fish, lots of rock, sand and corals.

I need to MOVE THE WHOLE TANK TO THE OTHER SIDE OF ROOM, SO I CAN START TO SETUP A bigger TANK INSTEAD IN THE SAME PLACE

In order to move the 36 gallon to the other side of the room, I will need to take out all of live rock, around 100 pounds, all of fish, corals,

I can then move the tank with the sand and maybe a little water, WHile temporarliy I keep all the livestock and water in buckets.

Once I move the tank to the other side, Can I right away fill it back up with the same water, rocks, fish and coral? Can this cause my tank to recycle and kill all my livestock?

ANY ADVICE???

I don't think you'll have any problems doing it the way you described. GL.

i just mover a 58 yesterday w/ 4 friends 25 miles away! empty tank load rock catch fish all in garbage cans. loaded up the tank and drove to new place and filled it right up water cleared up in 3 hours. but i did do a 15 gallon water change just in case. make sure you have some spare water on hand.

Your plan sounds good. Make sure they have some air and maybe heat. It will take longer than you think. I did an upgrade from an 80 gal to a 180 gal in the same spot. I did the same thing you plan to.
+1 on the extra water on hand.
