coral recommendation for 14g tank
what's a good beginner coral for a 14 gallon. I heard that mushrooms were really hardy and many people have had success without adding additional supplements or extra lighting.
I have FOWLR system right now - 1 damsel, 1 clown, and 1 firefish. |

I would have to agree that a mushroom would be a good starter coral without any special lighting. I was told at my LFS that those can pretty much survive in any condition.

Mushrooms are a great way to start! When you do get some remember it usually takes a couple of days sometimes a week for them to acclamate to the new light. Don't make the same mistake I did many many years ago and pitch them after a few days as I thought I killed them.
