Lighting For A 120 Gallon
The tank is 48", 24", 24" and I would like to keep a range of corals from SPS to shrooms. What do you guys recommend?

Would two 250 watt halides be enough? I am also interested in LED's, so if you guys have any diy LED plans let me know!

I'm currently using 2 - 250W MH.... i personally think its enough but have known others who prefer 2 - 400W MH, but I think that's a bit overkill especially for the cost/temp difference to run.
I'm also very interested in LED but you would need something like two Radions to cover the tank well; which is bit steep for me... I'll give LEDs a year or two more and I'm sure they will be half of current prices (fingers crossed ![]() |
